Privacy
What we hold, why we hold it, and when it leaves the office.
Mentis Anchor Analytics Co., Ltd. is the data controller for personal data described here. The office is at 42/1 Chaeng Watthana Road, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210. Privacy questions go to hello@mentisanchor.click or (02-573-8204).
Data we collect
From the enquiry form: your name, email address, school or foundation, the reading you ask about, the examination sitting, an optional preferred date, and your message. If you telephone, we keep a note of the number you called from and what was asked.
From a commissioned reading: mark sheets, candidate numbers, and, only if the school sends them, names. Question-paper sittings may include marks by question. We ask schools to send candidate numbers rather than names.
From this website: your cookie choice, stored in the browser under the key named on the cookie page. We do not run an advertising exchange and we do not buy lists of parents or students.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to reply and, if you commission a reading, to prepare the fee note. Mark sheets are used only to draw the book or tally you ordered and to sit with the committee. Accounting records are kept so we can invoice and meet Thai revenue practice. The legal bases we rely on are steps toward a contract, performance of that contract, legitimate interests in running a small professional office, and legal obligation for tax records. The cookie choice is stored so we can honour the selection you made.
Retention
Uncommissioned enquiries are kept for twenty-four months and then deleted. Mark sheets and file copies of a chart book are kept for one year after the morning or the delivery, then destroyed, unless the school asks in writing for earlier destruction. Accounting records, including the school’s billing name and the fee, are kept for five years. A cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear site data.
Who sees it
Arisa Thongchai and Niran Phetkasem handle the sheets. A bookkeeper in Bangkok sees the invoice details, not the mark sheets. We do not sell personal data. We do not give a school’s bands to another school. If a government authority in Thailand requires disclosure under a lawful order, we will limit it to what the order demands.
International transfers
Readings are prepared in Bangkok. Mark sheets are not sent abroad for drawing or storage. Enquiry email is read at the Lak Si office. If our mail host stores a message on a server outside Thailand, that host’s only role is to carry the message, and we do not use the message for any other purpose. Type on these pages is requested from Google Fonts; that request can send an IP address to Google so the letters can be delivered. There is no advertising cookie attached to that request by us.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to object to a use based on legitimate interests, and to receive a portable copy where the Act provides that right. You may withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting use that was already lawful. You may complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand. We may need to confirm that you act for the school before we release a mark sheet.
Some records, especially invoices, cannot be deleted before the tax period ends. If a chart book has already been delivered, destroying our file copy does not recall the school’s copies.
Children
We do not seek personal data from students. Examination lists should reach us from the academic office. If a list includes a student’s name, the school is responsible for having a proper basis to share it, and we will use it only to match a row when candidate numbers are missing.
