The marks stay in columns until the committee can see their shape.
We draw a bound chart book from the school’s own mark sheets and sit with the academic committee on the morning those sheets are still fresh.
The Result Morning
01 · The sitting we arrange most often
A Result Morning is half a day and two copies of the book.
The director, the head of academic affairs, and the subject leads they choose come to one table. Arisa Thongchai opens the book subject by subject. Nobody is asked to admire a method. They are asked to look at where this year group actually sat.
The fee starts at 32,000 baht for one campus, one sitting, up to eight subjects and six year groups, with travel inside Bangkok. The book is drawn only after a deposit, and only from marks the school sends.
What the morning includes
02 · Other readings
Some schools want the book. Some want one paper. Some have two campuses.
Bound Chart Book
Some committees already know how they want the afternoon to run. They ask only for the book.
Question Paper Sitting
When a single paper has worried the department, the useful page is the one that shows which questions the cohort left thin.
Sister-Campus Reading
Two campuses, one paper, and a morning that keeps the comparison in the open instead of in a corridor afterwards.
03 · Order of the sheets
The book is opened from the cohort, not from the highest name.
A Result Morning follows the same sequence every time, so a committee that has sat with us before already knows which page comes next.
Each subject on its own sheet
Last sitting, if you kept it
A blank page for the room
04 · From a mid-year table
The mathematics bar for Matthayom 3 was the page that stopped the room. The top held six students. The heavy middle ran twenty marks wide. The year head had come ready to talk about the six.
05 · What the academic office sends
Candidate numbers, full marks, and the subject written in pencil.
- One mark sheet per subject and year group, with the score and the full mark.
- Candidate numbers in place of names wherever the office can strip the names first.
- Last year’s book, if this sitting should be drawn beside it.
- For a question-paper sitting only: marks by question, and the mark scheme you already use.
We do not set the paper and we do not mark it. The columns have to be the school’s. Eight working days is the usual gap between a complete bundle and the morning. In the fortnight after O-NET scores arrive, write sooner; several schools in Lak Si and Don Mueang send bundles in the same week.
We reply within two working days. In the fortnight after O-NET scores reach schools, allow three.
06 · Field notes
Notes from the drawing table
Ruling a mathematics band so the year head can see the middle
How a mathematics score band is ruled for a Thai secondary year group so the middle of the cohort is visible before the staff meeting.
What to pull from the cupboard before an O-NET afternoon
A practical list of mark sheets and old chart books to gather before a school sits down with its O-NET scores.
Four subjects is enough for a staff-room wall
Why a staff-room wall chart of school examination results should stop at four subjects, and how long the sheets should stay up.
The office
Write before the committee date is fixed in the staff diary.
