Terms for using this office and commissioning a reading.

These terms govern use of the website at mentisanchor.click and every reading commissioned from Mentis Anchor Analytics Co., Ltd. (“the practice”, “we”). The practice was established in 2014 and works from 42/1 Chaeng Watthana Road, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210.

Acceptance

By using the website you accept these terms. By paying a deposit, or by writing to accept a fee note, the school or foundation named in that note accepts these terms for that reading. If you enquire and do not commission work, only the website terms and the privacy note apply to that enquiry.

The reading

We prepare chart books and sit with school committees to read examination mark sheets the school provides. A fee note names the reading, the sitting, the limits on subjects and year groups, the venue, and the fee in Thai baht. Work outside that note is not included. We do not set papers, mark scripts, or enter scores into a school register.

What you send us

You confirm that you have authority to share the mark sheets for the purpose of the reading. Candidate numbers should be used in place of student names wherever the academic office can arrange it. You confirm that the columns are the school’s own record. We do not check the arithmetic of marking except where a question-paper sitting is built from tallies you supply, and even then we read the tallies as given.

Intellectual property

The mark sheets, scripts, and any list of names remain the school’s property. The arrangement of a chart book — the scale, the bands, and the order of sheets — is drawn by the practice. On payment of the balance, the school receives the agreed copies for its internal use: staff meetings, the academic office, and the foundation office named in the fee note. The school does not acquire a right to resell the book or to present it as the work of another office. We may keep one file copy for the retention period in the privacy note, and we will not publish a school’s bands.

Text and pictures on this website belong to the practice unless a caption says otherwise. You may not copy a page of the site onto another commercial site.

Fees

Fees are informational on the website and binding only when a fee note is accepted. A deposit of forty percent reserves the date. The balance is due before the morning or before a book is released. Late payment may move the date. Details of cancellation and refunds are on the refund page, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

A chart describes the marks we were given. It is not a prediction of the next paper, a judgement of a teacher, or a recommendation to promote or hold a student. Decisions after the morning are the school’s. To the extent Thai law allows, our liability arising from a reading is limited to the fee paid for that reading. We do not exclude liability that Thai law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

The website is a description of the practice. An enquiry form acknowledgement means we received the note, not that a date is reserved.

Conduct in the room

We will stop a sitting if we are asked to single out a student for discipline, or to rank teachers on a sheet intended for a public wall. The fee for work already drawn remains payable as the refund page describes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Thailand. The courts of Bangkok have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protection you have as a consumer under Thai law.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. A reading already confirmed by a fee note keeps the terms in force on the day that note was accepted.
