The reading we arrange most often

Result Morning

A half-day sitting with the academic committee, built around a bound chart book of one examination.

Who it is for

Directors, heads of academic affairs, and the subject leads they want in the room. The morning is for the adults who will change next term’s groups, not for a student assembly.

What the school keeps

The committee keeps two bound copies and a shared picture of where each year group sat in every subject we were asked to read.

In the work

  • A reading of the mark sheets you send, up to eight subjects and six year groups
  • A bound chart book in two copies, on heavy cream stock
  • The morning itself, led by Arisa Thongchai
  • A short written note, the same day, of points the committee asks us to record
  • Travel within Bangkok

Outside the work

  • Setting the paper or marking the scripts
  • Entering scores into the school register
  • Comment on a named student’s conduct or promotion
  • Travel outside Bangkok, which is quoted on its own
  • Question-by-question tallies, which are a separate sitting

Who does it

Arisa Thongchai leads the morning. Niran Phetkasem draws the book in the days before.

How a booking moves

  1. You write with the name of the sitting and a week that suits the committee.
  2. We reply with the list of sheets we need and a fee note in baht.
  3. A deposit of forty percent reserves the date.
  4. Mark sheets should reach us eight working days before the morning.
  5. We sit subject by subject and leave both copies of the book with the school.

What to prepare

Send candidate numbers rather than full names wherever the academic office can do so. For each subject and year group include the full mark and the score. If last year’s bands should sit on the same page, send the previous book or the old mark sheet.

Limits

We read one examination sitting at a time. More than eight subjects or six year groups changes the fee, and that figure is agreed before any line is drawn. The book is not started until the deposit has arrived.

The fee

32,000 baht covers one campus and one sitting inside those limits. Each extra subject is 2,400 baht. Each extra year group is 2,800 baht. A third bound copy is 1,200 baht. The figure is confirmed in writing before work starts.

Write with the sitting and a preferred week, or call the Lak Si office.
